When someone picks up a pair of eyeglasses from your collection, what catches their eye beyond the frame shape and color? More often than not, it's the logo. That small detail carries big weight. It's the symbol of your brand's story, values, and craftsmanship.
At Bright Eyewear, we've spent over two decades crafting frames for independent brands around the world. And if there's one thing we've learned, it's this:
Your logo isn't just decoration — it's your identity.
Let's explore how your story gets etched, stamped, or embedded onto a frame — and why these small details matter more than you think.
Ever noticed a gleaming metal logo resting smoothly on the side of an acetate temple? It doesn’t shout. But it feels expensive.
That's the magic of the Up Sticker technique.
We begin by polishing the surface of the acetate, then carefully place a customized metal sticker onto it. The final touch? A clear coat of epoxy that seals everything in with a glassy finish.
The result is glossy, dimensional, and durable — a favorite for premium eyewear collections. If your brand is built on detail and quality, this logo technique speaks the same language.
If you prefer sleek, minimalistic designs or thinner temples, hot stamping may be a better fit.
Here's how it works: a heated mold presses foil — typically gold or silver — directly onto the frame. It's flatter and more subtle than metal stickers but still leaves a clean, elegant mark.
It's also cost-effective, making it a popular choice for fashion-forward, entry-level, or narrow designs. Less material, but still plenty of impact.
Want something bold and precise? Laser engraving uses high-temperature lasers to etch your logo into the frame surface. It creates a recessed groove, sharp and permanent.
But here's where it gets fun — that groove can be filled with any color you like. From classic black to trendy neon or metallics, it adds a personalized touch with just the right amount of attitude.
This technique is ideal if you want a textured look or want to play with contrast and finish. For modern, edgy, or streetwear-inspired brands, this one's a hit.
For those who want a logo that feels like part of the frame — not just added onto it — there's the epoxy insert technique.
First, we carve a small groove into the acetate. Then we gently place your customized metal logo inside, and pour clear epoxy over it. Once it dries, the whole area is polished until smooth and flush.
The final result looks like the logo is growing out of the frame itself — subtle, refined, and impressively durable.
Because it's not just about marking your product.
It's about leaving an impression.
Many of our clients — especially those just starting their eyewear journey — ask us, “Which logo technique is best for my brand?”
And we always say the same thing:
It depends on the story you want to tell.
Some logos whisper. Others shine. But all should feel intentional.
We're not just a eyewear supplier. We're makers who care deeply about the process — and about the people behind every brand we work with.
Whether you’re launching your first collection or upgrading your brand’s signature, we’ll guide you through the options and help you find the perfect fit — aesthetically, technically, and emotionally.
